Before performing CPR, check:

Is the environment safe for the person to perform CPR?

Is the person in a conscious or unconscious state?

If the person appears unconscious, tap or shake the shoulder and ask loudly to confirm consciousness

If the person does not respond and you are capable to find others to help, have one person call 120 or the local emergency number and get the AED machine if it is possible.

Meanwhile, start performing CPR immediately.

For Teenagers

If there is an adult available in the near perimeter, consult the adult to provide support for you upon whether is it possible for him/her to help you call for help or to help you during the procedures of CPR. If there is no adult available, evaluate the emergency and ask yourself if it is possible for you to provide help. If the condition is beyond your reach, it is entirely possible for you to walk away and find someone else for help. You should never endanger yourself and your well-being is always the first priority to consider in any emergency situations. If you are alone and have immediate access to a telephone, call 120 or your local emergency number before beginning CPR. Get the AED if one is available. As soon as an AED is available, deliver one shock if instructed by the device, then resume CPR for extended session if the patient remains to be unconscious.
